Pushing past the point of failure is important. As hard as it is, 60 hours of labor went into this rod, not time wasted by any means.
It’s always important to see how much something is made of, abuse isn’t the point of the exercise, it’s a constructive exercise done deliberately and thoughtfully. Here a half dozen rods tolerated my jump.
